Berlin/Düsseldorf, 23 October 2026 Trading Hub Europe GmbH (THE) has awarded the contracts for the LTO tenders and special tenders. In total, an amount of 79.200 MW was awarded. The overall costs amount to approximately EUR 245 million.
The tendered demand was covered almost in full. Only for March 2027 certain requirements in one L-gas zone could not be fully contracted. Overall, the tenders were significantly oversubscribed. From THE’s perspective, the higher costs compared to the previous year's tenders therefore reflect the current market situation.
