On 27 February 2024, Trading Hub Europe submitted an application to adjust the time limit on the concept for levying the gas storage neutrality charge. THE's previous concept dated 29 July 2022 was approved by the BNetzA until 31 March 2025. THE's application was made against the background of the extension of the period of application of the regulations on the filling level requirements (Sections 35a to 35g EnWG) until 1 April 2027. The application was aimed solely at extending the concept. The content of the concept was not amended. BNetzA approved THE's application with decision BK7-24-01-003.
