Going forward
In accordance with Paragraph 1 of the Federal Network Agency’s stipulation regarding the Hydrogen Balancing and Settlement Model (WasABi) dated October 27, 2025, the hydrogen transmission system operators designated Trading Hub Europe GmbH (THE) as the hydrogen market area manager on December 8, 2025, within the prescribed deadline. THE accepted the designation on December 12, 2025. Since then, preparations for implementing the requirements of the Federal Network Agency’s hydrogen regulations have been consistently advanced.
